Zia is the Chief Executive Officer and owner of Illscape Studios, a music management firm she founded to assist independent artists in achieving sustainable, long-term success. Holding a Master of Arts in Music Business from Berklee College of Music, where she graduated summa cum laude, Zia developed an integrated and holistic management model through a comprehensive dissertation that combined qualitative data from artists with quantitative industry analysis. With a BFA in interior architecture and certification as a LEED Green Associate, her design insights inform the creation of immersive, sustainable music events that integrate acoustics, visual aesthetics, and environmentally responsible spatial design. Furthermore, as a Certified Professional Organizer, Zia provides structure and efficiency to artists’ businesses, assisting them in streamlining operations, managing workflows, and concentrating on their creative growth. Her tailored 360-management strategies encompass scheduling, contracts, marketing, and promotion, fostering strategic development for a diverse roster of musicians.

His background as City Attorney for McAllen, Texas, along with his role as CFO and General Counsel for BT Church, overseeing music publishing and recording projects, enhances his capacity to navigate the complexities of the music industry. Her expertise allows artists to build sustainable business structures, enabling them to focus on their creative work while she handles the financial and operational details that drive long-term success.

As an Associate Professor of Psychology at Berklee College of Music, her research on human behavior, motivation, and well-being shapes innovative approaches to branding, performance, and sustainable career development for artists. Alicia’s focus on how technology and sociocultural shifts impact learning enhances Illscape Studios’ ability to support artists in connecting authentically with diverse audiences. As a musician herself, she combines academic insight with creative experience to guide emerging talent in building meaningful and lasting careers.

Brad serves on the Board of Advisors for Illscape Studios. His extensive background in media rights and licensing gives Illscape Studios a competitive advantage in securing sync deals, ensuring that the artists he manages have strategic access to opportunities in film, television, gaming, and digital media. His legal expertise in content acquisition and distribution allows Illscape Studios to negotiate optimal placement and revenue opportunities for its artists, maximizing both visibility and profitability. Brad played a crucial role in structuring the first DVD manufacture-on-demand agreement for Hewlett Packard and has negotiated groundbreaking deals with major rights holders such as the NFL, HBO, and Marvel Entertainment. In addition to his legal and business accomplishments, Brad shares his industry knowledge as an adjunct professor at UCSD and Berklee College of Music, where he teaches courses on media, technology, and law.
