About Me:
I am the essence of musical versatility and excellence, forming the core of Cymphoni Fantastique. With a profound expertise spanning nearly two decades, our ensemble has graced numerous stages across North America, delivering performances that resonate with elegance and emotional depth. Specializing in a diverse range of genres – Classical, Pop, R&B, Blues, and Jazz – we tailor our music to enhance the atmosphere of any event.
My academic journey at the University of Houston laid the foundation for my musical career, where I majored in Cello Performance and minored in Composition. This educational background has been pivotal in honing my skills in both performance and creative composition.
Professional Highlights:
- Commissioned to compose and arrange fresh and innovative pieces for the renowned Scott Joplin Chamber Orchestra.
- Proudly held the role of a section cellist in the Scott Joplin Chamber Orchestra, contributing to the ensemble’s rich tapestry of sounds.
- Collaborated with the iconic DJ OG Ron C for the June 27th commemoration, showcasing a unique fusion of classical and contemporary genres.
- Gained extensive experience by playing with various esteemed ensembles, including the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra, PVAMU Orchestra, Color of Music Festival, Ebony Opera Guild, and the Tarragon Theater.
